Crimson Reflections

May 2014’s issue of Kera has dropped and with it came two new Angelic Pretty Prints. Crystal Dream Carnival and Berry Garden. Let’s start with the print that is generating the most hype, Crystal Dream Carnival.

This is the two page Kera spread, which as many people have mentioned, does appear to show two different (but similar) colorways (images come from minekonbu, by the way). Devoncuppycakes on Tumblr posted a scan of the spread of Berry Garden which has the item breakdown for Crystal Dream Carnival in the footer, which clarifies the colors a bit.

Crystal Dream Carnival Items

	Shown in the images to the right above, the Crystal Dream Carnival Dress Set will be ￥49,800.It includes: Crystal Dream Carnival ワンピース (Crystal Cream Carnival One Piece) Crystal Cream Carnival チョーカー (Crystal Cream Carnival Choker) Crystal Dream Carnival ハーフボンネット (Crystal Cream Carnival Half Bonnet) Based on how AP generally does sets, there is a very high chance that this set will be in a specific Japanese shop for an Anniversary Party.
	Shown in the images to the left above, the Crystal Dream Carnival ティアードジャンパースカート (Crystal Dream Carnival Tiered JSK) will be ￥30,800.
	The Crystal Dream Carnival ジャンパースカート (Crystal Dream Carnival JSK) will be ￥27,800.
	The Crystal Dream Carnival スカート (Crystal Dream Carnival Skirt) will be ￥17,800.
	The Crystal Dream Carnival カチューシャ (Crystal Dream Carnival Headbow) will be ￥3,600.The Crystal Dream Carnival オーバーニー (Crystal Dream Carnival OTK Socks) will be ￥2,200
	The Crystal Dream お袖とめ (Crystal Dream Wristcuffs) are shown on the model with the dress set and I believe the price is not yet set.
	The Crystal Dream ブラウス (Crystal Dream Blouse) is shown on the model with the tiered jsk and will be ￥14,800.
	The Crystal Dream サテン手袋 (Crystal Dream Satin Gloves) are shown on the model on the left and I believe the price is not yet set.

Other items pictured on the models include 2011’s Night Carnival Ring and Night Carnival Necklace, 2013’s Day Dream Carnival Bracelet, Day Dream Carnival Pearl Choker and Day Dream Carnival Ring. If the last year or so of releases is any indication, there is a fairly high chance we will see a re-release of some of these items in the weeks before or after the CDC print comes out, with the exception of the shoes (Enamel Chelsea Ribbon Shoes on the right, Jewelry Ribbon Shoes on the left), perhaps, as they are still in stock, and I wouldn’t bet on the Royal Crown Necklace, though it’s possible. Unaccounted for are the large multi-string pearl beads, so I’d assume they are most likely a prop.

It’s not yet clear what colors this will come in (at least, I can’t find a list anywhere that is sourced to anything). That said, from the images available, it looks like a Purple-ish blue, Black and Navy are likely, with the socks also coming in lavender. No timeline on this either, but I would expect sometime between now and the end of May, given that it was in the May kera.

Next, we have the Berry Garden series (all images from Devoncuppycakes on Tumblr). This looks very similar to Freshly Picked Strawberries, and next to the above Crystal Dream Carnival, it’s been pretty much ignored. I don’t think competition to get this will be overly strong, but it is cute, and the nicest cuts/colors will probably sell out on release day. Though, I will say, I’m not a fan of the brown.

	The Berry Garden シャーリングワンピース  (Berry Garden Shirring OP) will be ￥24,800. It’s appears to be fully shirred.
	The Berry Garden ティアードジャンパースカート  (Berry Garden Tiered JSK) will be ￥24,800.
	The Berry Garden ジャンパースカート  (Berry Garden JSK) will be ￥23,800 and is shown on the model to the left.
	The Berry Garden スカート  (Berry Garden Skirt) will be ￥15,800.

Again, no published color listing, but appears to come in Pink, White, Brown and Red. Obviously, there are more accessories for this series which I haven’t listed out. I wanted to get this published because people are asking questions about CDC, but I’ll come back and add in the accessories later.
