New from Angelic Pretty: Whip Show Case
Angelic Pretty has just launched the info page for their new print: Whip Show Case ( ホイップShow Case ), which comes out this Saturday (March 9th, 2013).
It’s another cake print, in chiffon, in pastels, and all in all, I’m not really wowed by this one. In fact, it was in the GLB #47 and I thought it was a Baby, the Stars Shine Bright print at first and just ignored it. There is a high-waist JSK, a normal JSK (though it has some funky bows up the front) and a drop-waist miniskirt, as well as over the knee socks (ivory, pink, yellow, sax, and mint), a head bow, and tights. I don’t really see this being super popular.
The main pieces come in white, pink, yellow, and sax.
I think the tights are going to be big though, since print tights are in, hard to find elsewhere, and there aren’t a lot of options yet. So I can see a lot of sweet lolita trying to get a pair of these to match up with older AP and BTSSB prints. It looks like they come in Ivory (shown on the preview sheet), pink, and lavender which is shown in the image from the GLB:
