Last 6 Months of Coords
January & February were very busy for me because of Katsucon and all the other stuff we had going on… and then I caught COVID and it took me a bit to recover from that. Because of that, I haven’t published anything since last fall. I started a few posts, but didn’t finish them, partly because I taught two panels at Katsucon that were research heavy. That said, as I get back into the swing of things, here are some coords from earlier this year / the end of last year to start things off (or at least, the ones I took photos of, lol).

Starting out with a classic coord featuring an Excentrique JSK and Innocent World blouse. I changed my mind on this outfit for the occasion and actually changed into ETC instead… But I liked the coord so I took a picture at least.

This is a Baby the Stars Shine Bright JSK that I haven’t worn in ages, I paired it with this bolero that I think came from Forever21 that I bought secondhand at like a swap meet a decade ago, and then an Innocent world headband and choker, and my haenuli bag. I think this was just for going shopping iirc, and I didn’t want to take the matching bag because the handles aren’t super strong.

I ordered the Moitie lucky pack this year, and got the colorway I wanted (black x white), so here is a quick coord I put together with that OP, a choker I ordered at the same time, the matching bow barrette and a very old school IW cape I own. The bag is from Haenuli.

This is an IW JSK I bought on sale a few years ago that I had never worn. I wanted to do an all black outfit that day, and it’s mostly black aside from the pearls at the bust. It’s completely sheer in the back so I paired it with a IW bolero and then a very old IW choker, my La Lucie bunny bag, a Moi-Meme-Moitie tote and this canotier from 魔女贩售 MORY HITOMI, that goes with a set I bought in 2022 that my inner teenager loves and I don’t know if I will ever wear out of the house. But the canotier is black x black and it’s not quite as obvious how cheap the materials are.

I tend to wear a lot less sweet in the winter, but I do have a few winter sweet prints like the AP one which I wore for a friend’s birthday party. We went to a gashapon shop and an arcade and then out for sushi. I was specifically trying to figure out which of my sweet dresses had a bow I could wear with my natural heair and this one won. I know the tights and the blouse don’t match in the photos, they never do and it’s always been a point of annoyance for me because they match IRL. Bag, necklace, rosette, blouse, JSK, rings and headbow are all AP, shoes are seven dream.

Friday of Katsucon was Valentine’s Day so I went with the most OTT Valentine’s Day themed coord with one of my two dream dresses from back in the day: Dream Magic. JSK, Skirt, socks, one necklace, some of the rings, some of the headbows and pins are AP. The bag is Baby, the shoes and blouse (dyed) are bodyline. One necklace is Meta. The other accessories are a mix of indie brands, off brand and handmade.

Saturday of Katsucon I wore Star Night Theater, which is an all time fav of my Angelic Pretty pieces. The JSK, heabows, choker, necklace, brooch and combs are all Angelic pretty, shoes are off brand, bag is yumi fairy, blouse and one of the necklaces are meta.

The last day of Katsu I wore the black version of strawberry field animals from Innocent World. I recently found this for cheap on auction and bought it thinking I would get it altered because I had always assumed it was smaller than the re-release… but it’s actually bigger. So, obviously, I now need to collect it in pink as well, lol. This bolero is from Angelic Pretty and the headdress is from IW. The little squirrel is a brooch I made from a christmas ornament. I’ve been selling these at the Belladonna booth this year.
Just for fun because I know a lot of people wonder about ways to wear lolita to an office, here are some of the otome & vintage inspired coords I’ve put together for work over the past few months.

And lastly, just for fun, here are my recent nails (that I remembered to take photos of, oops). The 90s kitchen ducks with lemons and blueberries are my current set and I love the little duckies so much. The hearts were for Valentines day / Katsucon and the pink peppermint was for Christmas, while the green and gold with snowflakes was thanksgiving / early December.

Hopefully, I can get some of the other partly done posts published out soon. Hope your 2025 is going well!
